DIY on the FLY Desk Organization
You might say I am a bit obsessed when it comes to making things with my hands and keeping a tidy and well organized home and office. Here is a really fun DIY on the FLY spinning desk organizer that I made in one of my latest DIY on the FLY YouTube web series video’s produced by Sky Princess Studios. I had so much fun making this project. It was super easy, budget friendly and took me less than twenty minutes to make. Oh, yah and I also think it’s pretty chic! You can see the entire video tutorial on my YouTube channel here: www.youtube.com/c/juleeireland

I post weekly DIY on the FLY video tutorials with great projects for your home, lifestyle and many of them you can do with your kids! Now, let’s make craft magic happen! Here’s how you make this adorable spinning desk organizer to get organized!
Supplies: Lazy susan, bulletin board, large plate or frame in your desired color, variety of glass jars, spray paint for use with glass in your desired color and finish, hot glue gun, photo frame for the center (optional. I found mine at Target)
Step One: Spray paint your jars your desired color and let them dry. Optional: you can allocate one of your jars for a dried flower or flower arrangement. I show you how in my tutorial video.
Step Two: Use your hot glue gun to glue your bulletin board, plate or frame onto your lazy susan making sure it is centered. Note: make sure your bulletin board, plate or frame is larger than your lazy susan and is large enough to fit all of your jars and photo frame onto.
Step Three: Layout your design with your jars and photo frame. When you are happy with your layout use your glue gun to glue your photo frame and jars on top of your lazy susan bulletin board, plate or frame starting at the center and moving outwards.
Step Four: Fill your jars with your desk essentials such as paperclips, scissors, pens and pencils, etc.
Lastly, give it a spin and then display it on your desk or in a handy place in your office. It’s so beautiful make sure you put it somewhere where it can be seen and admired. I would love to see your spinning desk organization creations to post on my blogs and social media.
